We ensure the integrity and quality of our service by recurring security assessments.
Timestamp Sequence
By issuing consecutive serial numbers for created timestamps we could recover easily from a potential security flaw. If someone would be able to breach the system, we would need to remove all timestamps for the affected time period.
PGP Signature
We offer to download timestamps as a PGP signed message. That makes sure that no one would be able to fake or manipulate these files.

Liability
Please note that we have to limit our legal liability. There is no known technical reason known for, but since we provide our service free-of-charge, we just cannot take the risk of being lawsuited.
Time Accuracy
Our server is synchronized with the NTP service pool.ntp.org. NTP services on the public internet usually help you to maintain a time accuracy of 10 milliseconds (Details on NTP).
